Outdoor play on this glorious fall day was filled with joy and friendship. Crissy surprised the children with huge bags of mums that had been dug up from the Lower School flower beds. Our landscapers were removing the plants when Crissy was passing the area and she immediately thought of the PreK and K children and had the bags brought to our Prek/K wing. Crissy asked if we were interested in re-planting the mums in our Kindergarten garden. The children were instantly drawn to the bags of plants and little helpful hands were immersed in soil and the flower play begins.....

The large wooden blocks were used to create a flower shop and children connected with each other in so many wonderful, creative and imaginative ways. A few children gathered flowers and named themselves "flower princesses and sprinked flower dust petals to those who requested them; they promised that the flower dust would make everyone's wishes come true!"

The time shared with our Kindergarten friends was truly amazing....
