How many time do we rake leaves into a pile without stopping to wonder at their beauty and diversity? The goal of the last few science lessons has been to celebrate nature by getting out to closely observe the wonders of the fall season. Once you start looking carefully, it's amazing how many different types of leaves and seeds you can find. And what luck! We managed to hike all the way over to the meetinghouse and discovered a huge recently cut tree. There were all sorts of opportunities to observe the parts of the tree, as well as just having some fun in our new "natural playground".
